Type 1 Diabetes
I’ve been living and learning with type 1 diabetes since 1991. My approach to managing my diabetes focuses heavily on fitness (especially resistance training) and cooking. I started this website to share that part of my life, and to show that with the right knowledge and consistent effort, leading a strong and healthy life with diabetes is entirely possible.
I am not a doctor or medical professional of any kind. The information on this site is based on my own experience and research. Nothing I say or share should be taken as medical advice. Always consult with your professional diabetes care team before making decisions about your health.
